FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS

We do not require an evaluation for boarding or daycare. Since Fur Paws is a small facility, we provide personal attention to each dog. Jorge, our trainer is at the facility most of the time and will determine on a daily basis who we believe your dog can play with. We base this on a number of factors, including size, age, play style and more.

Fur Paws LLC is an Open Boarding facility unless you specifically ask for your pet to be in its room at certain times of the day. By dropping off your dog you acknowledge that it is the owner´s responsibility to inform if your pet has social, any other issues or if there are medical reasons or conditions we need to be aware of that your pet should not be around other animals or common areas. Fur Paws LLC reserves the right to deny services based on health issues or behavior. Service may be modified to accommodate overly aggressive dogs as needed. If your dog is not friendly with other dogs, he will be in a separate area but still get lots of outdoor and indoor playtimes with our staff. We do not have breed restrictions, we take in any dog.

Females in heat will not be accepted. It is the owner’s responsibility to inform Fur Paws LLC of your female’s heat cycle. Fur Paws will Not be held accountable for incidents regarding intact females.

PAYMENTS

While we accept all major credit and debit cards, personal checks and apps as a form of payment, we require a card to be on file. Credit card processing incur a 3.5% “service fee” (this fee does not applies to debit cards). To make payments easier we have the following options:

All services charges must be paid in full at time of check out. Any pending invoice will have an additional $2/day fee for late payment

WHAT TO BRING

All dogs must bring their own food. If the owner does not provide it, a fee will incur for each meal provided by Fur Paws LLC during the stay.

We understand that clients want to bring personal effects to make their dog feel more comfortable during the stay. We do recommend to all belongings be marked with the dog or owner´s name. We attempt to track and care for all belongings, however, we cannot be responsible for all items left with your dog and return cannot be guaranteed. We will not accept food/water bowls.


RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION POLICIES

A 10% deposit is required upon approval. Reservations will not be confirmed until payment Is collected. Deposits are non-refundable; however it may be used as a credit under certain circumstances. Credits will have a 90 days duration. All changes or cancellations must be informed via email during business hours; that means, if you submit your request after hours the notification will be consider by the time the front desk team reads it. Please see the specific guidelines for each service listed below.

GROOMING

If you cancel or need to change the date of your grooming appointment the following restrictions apply:

  • A 10% deposit is required upon approval. Reservations will not be confirmed until payment Is collected. Deposits are non-refundable for any reason.

  • Rescheduling or Cancellations more than 2 days prior to start date: Original payments may be used as a credit for a rescheduled appointment or another service option; however, a new deposit is also required to reschedule. ( i.e. if 1st appointment needs to be rescheduled you will need another deposit for the new appointment, If both deposit amounts are $30.00 this will result in a credit balance of $60.00 that will be applied upon completion of the service. If customer needs fo reschedule a 3rd time both deposits will be forfeited)

  • Rescheduling or Cancellations less than 2 days of the appointment: Original deposit is forfeited; a new deposit is required to reschedule.

PRIVATE LESSONS

All scheduled private lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled a minimum of 24-Hours prior to the scheduled lesson time. Late cancellations and “No-Shows” will be charged at the normal rate.

  • Private lesson packages: Ten (10) sessions package must be completed within 5-weeks beginning on the date of their first lesson. If the lessons are not completed within this time, it will be at the discretion of the assigned trainer and Fur Paws, LLC, to determine if the reason for the delay was warranted. Clients that wish to extend their end training date, must submit a written statement through email requesting a delay, including the reason for the delay, and the proposed date to resume training. Clients must receive a written statement, from Fur Paws, LLC, permitting them to extend their training end date.

  • Rescheduling or Cancellations: more than 24 hours prior to start time: Original payments may be used as a credit to a future lesson or another service option.

  • Rescheduling or Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to start time: Original payment is forfeited; new payment is required to reschedule.

SERVICES INVOLVING TRAINING

If you cancel or need to change the date of your service the following restrictions apply:

  • A 10% deposit is required upon approval. Reservations will not be confirmed until payment Is collected. Deposits are non-refundable for any reason

  • Rescheduling or Cancellations more than 7 days prior to start date: Original payments may be used as a credit for a rescheduled appointment or another service option; however, a new deposit is also required to reschedule. ( i.e. If both deposit amounts are $150.00 this will result in a credit balance of $300.00 that will be applied upon completion of the program)

  • Rescheduling or Cancellations less than 7 days prior to start date: Original deposit is forfeited; a new deposit is required to reschedule. 

BOARDING

If you cancel or need to change the date of your Boarding the following restrictions apply:

  • A 10% deposit is required upon approval. Reservations will not be confirmed until payment Is collected. Deposits are non-refundable for any reason

  • DURING NON HOLIDAY/ PEAK SEASON: Rescheduling or Cancellations more than 3 days prior to arrival date: Original payments may be used as a credit for a rescheduled appointment or another service option; however, a new deposit is also required to reschedule. ( i.e. If both deposit amounts are $150.00 this will result in a credit balance of $300.00 that will be applied upon completion of the program)

  • Rescheduling or Cancellations less than 3 days prior to arrival date: Original deposit is forfeited; a new deposit is required to reschedule. 

  • DURING HOLIDAY/ PEAK SEASON: The equivalent of 3 nights deposit is required upon approval. Reservations will not be confirmed until payment Is collected. Deposits are non-refundable for any reason. We will require a valid credit card on file. You can securely store your credit card information through your customer portal. During high volume boarding season we completely book up and have a waiting list. It is imperative that proper cancellation policies are followed so that any client who is on waiting list can be accommodated. If policies are not respected, your credit card will be charged the respective fee. Cancellations with more than 7 days prior to the arrival: deposit can be used as credit. Cancelations less than 7 days prior to the arrival: The equivalent for three (3) nights will be forfeited. This charge is not a credit, it is a penalty for late notification. Cutting days during the stay: The total charge will be processed for the number of days originally booked. For last minute reservations the full policy will apply.   • Rescheduling less than 7 days prior to arrival date: Original deposit is forfeited; a new deposit is required to reschedule. We do not guarantee availability.

PACKAGES

 Daycare packages have a duration period of 30 days and are not refundable. Instead, payments may be used as a credit to another service option.

REFUNDS FOR TRAINING SERVICES

We do not offer a monetary refund. Instead we stand 100% behind our training.

What Does That Mean?

Our dog training programs form a partnership between our clients, their dogs, and our team of dog trainers. The success of our program depends on us performing our job correctly, and also on the owner following up on the homework and strategies that we lay out for them.

Instead of offering a monetary refund we offer a Lifetime Guarantee.  This means that we will continue to work with owners who are working hard, and following our recommendations for as long as it takes.  In this way, those owners who are truly invested in their dog’s training and well being are assured that they will get everything they need out of our program.  Restrictions apply.  Please contact us for details.


VACCINATIONS

For the safety of your pet and our other guests and staff, all dogs must be current on standard vaccines and health examinations. If any required vaccination is past due, your pet must be updated before checking in with us. If your pet needs medical attention during the stay, it will be the owner's responsibility to pick it up and provide transportation to the veterinary clinic. If the owner or emergency contact is not available, Fur Paws LLC will transport the pet to and from the veterinary clinic we have on file and will administer the medication for the treatment during the rest of the stay, or until owners pick it up. Additional fees might incur for transportation purposes. Fur Paws LLC will be authorized to access and keep all medical records from your veterinarian for their files. Puppies between 12 and 16 weeks of age will require a clearance letter from the veterinarian to be boarded at our facility. FUR PAWS LLC will not held accountable for health issues related to lack of vaccinations

We do our best to keep our facility parasite free. To assist this effort, we require that all dogs be on a current (monthly) flea control protocol. Any dog that is found to have fleas will be given a flea and tick bath treatment. Additional fees may incur at time of check out.

Vaccination and health records are to be uploaded to your portal, submitted by email to support@furpawspethotel.com or dropped off at our facility with a minimum of 24hs prior the time of check in. Otherwise, the appointment will be canceled.

Vaccines required are: Annual Exam, Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Monthly Flea and Parasite control.

STRESS-RELATED ILLNESSES/DOG NOT BEING ITSELF

While we make every attempt to keep your dog happy, healthy, and safe while in our care, boarding is by nature stressful. Dogs placed in facilities like this may experience decrease immunity or gastric changes which vaccines do not prevent. All boarded dogs may be susceptible to canine cough, diarrhea, constipation, excessive shedding, and dermatologic changes. By signing this waiver, you agree that Fur Paws LLC is not held responsible for these conditions or associated costs.

It is completely normal that after the time the dogs spent at our facility and once they go back home their eating habits or mood change a little. They might leave some food or not eat at all for 2 or 3 days. They might also look sad and that is because they miss being around the other dogs: in the wild, dogs live in packs and are always around other dogs, and our environment is very similar to that. If your dog shows any of these symptoms do not worry right away, it should be back to normal after a few days.

Form must be submitted prior to check in but, if any issue is encountered client must communicate it by phone, email or come to our facility to submit it. By sending your reservation request or checking in your dog without having submitted the waiver you are accepting our policies and terms.
